TData is a special format used in Telegram Desktop Portable, a version of the messenger that can be launched from a flash drive. It does not require installation and allows Telegram to run on any computer. This approach provides more flexibility: changing IPs, switching devices — all of this does not require reauthorization.
The converter is designed to convert existing sessions into the TData format. This allows Telegram accounts to be quickly launched in the portable version of the application.
Configuration steps:
1. Select accounts — here you need to select accounts previously duplicated in the 2040 format. If you saved duplicated accounts in another folder, move them to the active ones.
2. Folder to save new accounts — here you specify the path to the folder where the program will place the converted profiles in TData format.
The system processes accounts sequentially using a single-threaded scheme. Delays between steps can be adjusted in the settings. Before launching the process, it is recommended to set minimum values (e.g., 0–0) to speed up execution.
After the conversion is complete, it is better to return the delays back to preserve stability in the future.
With delays disabled, the module can process up to 100 accounts in just a few seconds. However, the exact time depends on the system's performance and configuration.
After the procedure is complete, all ready TData sessions will be located in the folder you specified in point #2.
To launch the accounts, you need to download the portable version of Telegram from the official website (do not confuse it with the regular installation!). After unpacking the archive, the telegram.exe file is placed directly into the account’s folder.
Important notes:
- To avoid blocks, use mobile or residential proxies that match the account’s registration country.
- If no system proxy is set, it can be configured manually in Telegram’s own settings:
If Telegram closes immediately after launch, it’s possible errors were made during conversion. The issue may also be caused by attempting to convert a mobile session. In this case, check the JSON file — it must contain a correct pair of App ID and App Hash.
